As lecturer in Wharton’s Department of Management from 1979 until 1993, John Eldred developed the first Wharton graduate-level courses in the change process: Managing Organizational Change and Managing Organizational Transition. In 1980 he co-founded the internationally acclaimed Wharton School’s Family Business Program, which provided training and development for the founding generation of business owners.  As President of Transition One Associates, he continues today in helping organizations and individuals facing major business transitions.

John’s  work has been featured in the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, the European Labor Relations Review, FastCompany Magazine, and on CBS News. He has an M.S. degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Social Systems Science.
